Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the most popular and trusted modulation/multiplexing technique for wireless communication networks. it has been already adopted in many wireless network standards. Although there are certain issues, which are making use of this technique restricted Viz. Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) [3]. In Present scenario there are various algorithms have been developed to overcome PAPR Viz. Clipping Coding, Clamping, SLM, PTS, Companding etc. Still there is a need to improve performance of OFDM signal over PAPR. Various tools, techniques or methodologies can be used to evaluate the performance. One of the capable tool is NI USRP and LabVIEW. In this research paper we have explored advantages of NI LabVIEW and USRP to evaluate performance of OFDM signal and hence the development of most efficient algorithm to deploy it in a future wireless networks[15].
