Abstract

The article discusses the transitional type of culture, its systemic entry into the general global processes of society, and a new stage in the development of modern musical culture, which contributes to the interaction of musical art with other types of art, the synthesis of musical trends and styles and their impact on the processes taking place in modern society. In modern musical culture, new aspects of understanding culture and art associated with informatization processes have appeared. Media culture and the possibility of its development are closely related to the technical capabilities of storing and spreading information. The latest information technologies, instant transmission of new technologies, and art adaptation to the social processes taking place in society contribute to the dominance of mass culture in the social space, the active spread of "intermediate" trends in art, and the synthesis of mass culture with traditional and elite genres. The author shows that these phenomena can be used to attract the interest of young people to the traditional values and history of our culture, presented at a new, technological level.
