Abstract

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of developing new methods of drilling waste recycling. There described the currently known methods of drilling waste recycling, such as physical, chemical, physicochemical, thermal and biological. Advantages and disadvan-tages of drilling wastes recycling methods used in Russian Federation and abroad are con-sidered. It is shown that the most prospective methods for drilling wastes recycling are methods combining various ways of cleaning and neutralization. There are presented the results of studies of drilling wastes recycling method by obtaining encapsulated materials based on calcium oxide and oil sludge as a hydrophobic agent, recommended for use when plugging casing strings of oil and gas wells. The optimum components ratio is as follows: calcium oxide - 70-80 % by weight, oil sludge - 20-30 % by weight. Also researches results on possibility of application of drilling wastes as the stimulator of plants growth are given. The investigations were carried out both on model solutions of the well drilling fluid and on real drilling waste. Lepidium sativum (cress-salad) was used as a test object for assess-ing the effect of biostimulation. The results obtained show that drilling waste at a concen-tration of 0.5 % by weight can be used as a mineral fertilizer to stimulate the growth of plants, in particular, for industrial enterprises territories detoxification within the bounda-ries of the control zone, as well as for roadside zone arrangement.
