Abstract
Main terms and definitions relevant to associated petroleum gas metering were presented along with the classifications, components, and metrological assurance requirements for metering systems. Particular attention was given to the operation conditions and requirements, as well as to special selection criteria for associated petroleum gas flow meters intended for low-pressure flare lines. Flow measurement methods were reviewed, and the results of a comparative study of flow meters were presented.
