Abstract

This paper attempts to investigate March was made of yarn which depict Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear power plant accident. So I comprehensively analyzed recognition and response of modern Japanese literary writers about the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation leak As a result of the analysis in this work, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the author of a literary work recognized that it must be informed later by recording their current miserable situation. Second, the modern Japanese literary writers have sought to provide hope and comfort through these works. Third, the modern Japanese literary writers severely criticized for the government`s limit on the Great East Japan Earthquake and modern civilization engendering the nuclear power plant, and the social atmosphere only to appeal to patriotism and national unity.
