Abstract

The information technology market is one of the main catalysts for economic development. Investment in information technology is especially important. Information technology is an investment product, for this reason, they have to compete with other areas of enterprise activities with limited investment resources. It should be noted that the concept of "investing in IT" is new and very broad. All IT investments are divided into four categories: 1. Infrastructure; 2. Transaction; 3. Informative; 4. Strategic. Infrastructure - means investments in local area network, communications, equipment. Transactions - Investments in systems that facilitate day-to-day operations: order processing, printing of technology cards, payment documents, etc. Informative - Investments in analysis and decision support activities.
