Abstract
Modern Chinese in colleges and universities, as a basic course for Chinese language majors, is highly theoretical and practical. Based on the teaching of basic knowledge of modern Chinese, it is of great significance to improve students' Chinese understanding ability and article appreciation ability. The continuous development of the Internet has also brought great influence to modern Chinese. In modern Chinese teaching in colleges and universities, we need to strengthen reform and innovation, optimize teaching content, combine the teaching tools of the new era, and improve the teaching effect, so as to adapt to the trend of the development of the times, cultivate more students with excellent Chinese language literacy, and ensure the position of modern Chinese.
