Rationale: Moderate alcohol consumption is associated with decreased risk of cardiovascular disease and improvement in cardiovascular risk markers, including lipoproteins.1,2 This study aimed to systematically review the relationship between moderate alcohol intake, lipoprotein subfractions, and related mechanisms.
