D046 Models for Estimating the Stoneley Wave Velocity A. Godio* (Politecnico di Torino) & C. Strobbia (Eucentre - Pavia) SUMMARY An analytical approach to estimate the Stoneley wave (SW) velocity in elastic formations was developed. The model can be adopted to estimate the sensitivity of casing material on the SW velocity; moreover it can be used to estimate the effect of fractured materials around the borehole.
