Abstract

The aim was to compare the accuracy of mapping the shape of the bone structures using the following non-contact scanning systems: the mobile laser scanner and two fringe optic systems with structured light. The procedure enabled the creation of anatomical models of the femur and osteochondral defects in the articular surfaces and the analysis of their mapping errors. The accuracy of the measurements depend on the degree of differentiation shape and reflectance of the surface of the test object.
