Abstract

The Castillian elites of the Late Middle Ages (14th-15th centuries) -royalty, nobility, high clergy and urban oligarchy- reflect on their wills an idea about death that send us to past models, although sometimes we can glimpse some reflection or other of the incipient «Devotio Moderna» and the mental changes that come about at the end of the Middle Ages.
