Abstract

The lifting equipment of the fishing vessel is part of the auxiliary power plant. The success of the aquatic organisms catch depends on its reliability and efficiency, since there is no more such equipment on the vessel. Therefore, research aimed at improving the methods and principles for calculating and designing the lifting equipment of a fishing vessel is quite important. For that purpose, a comprehensive study of the system "fishing vessel – lifting equipment – warp – fishing gear" should be carried out. It is also important to study the influence of hydrometeorological factors on this system: wind, sea waves and undercurrent. This article presents the requirements for the content of a complex model of the system under study. Moreover, one of the stages of modelling is illustrated by the example of studying the dynamics of a warp, represented by a thread of variable length, the mathematical model of which is based on the application of the Lagrange equation of the second kind.
