Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the topical issue of international road transport accounting and forecasting, namely the definition of not the variability of the international transport market, but specifically the impact of seasonal factors on the freight companies direct costs. In the process of reviewing the literature, the technical factors of truck's linear fuel consumption are considered and generalized. Although, they were not considered separately. The statistical analysis of the operational indicators obtained as a result of motor transport enterprise cargo operations (Lviv) to the Baltic States, is carried out in the work. The main factors that affect fuel consumption during such round trips are identified. The relationship between unregulated fuel consumption and seasonal factors has been established. The dependence of the change in fuel consumption on the share of mileage abroad is determined. A mathematical model for determining the fuel travel costs has been built. It considered seasonal factors and the share of mileage abroad. Obtained research results illustrate the interdependencies between the main trip indicators, which are meaned by statistical processing of a large array of data. The article is relevant because it considers the possibility of modeling the costs of the trucking company to operate trips, taking into account changes in fuel consumption and the share of mileage abroad. The authors of the article reveal the issue of actual fuel overconsumption at different times of the year, considering seasonal correction factors. The obtained model of changing truck company operating costs, taking into account seasonal factors, allows engineers and managers to more accurately plan and forecast the process of international freight.
