Abstract

Numerical modelling was used to study the temperature field in a diamond-containing composite material with an organic matrix. An analysis was made of the influence of the thermophysical properties of the binder, and also of the coatings on the diamond grains, on the temperature field in the composite. The results of modelling of a non-stationary temperature field in the diamond tool composite are given.
