Abstract
In the paper a glass microelectrode tip is analysed in terms of an equivalent electrical circuit. It is shown that this electrical circuit, postulated in the literature as an RC circuit, can be verified using the frequency domain methods. Electrodes are placed in feedback with an operational amplifier and subjected to sinusoidal analysis; Bode plots of impedance are generated and used to verify the existence of the parallel RC network at the electrode tip.
