Abstract
JET has conducted experiments specifically designed to tackle the issue of CD4 redeposition at the divertor target plates. This paper reports the results obtained by these experiments, quantifies the percentage of prompt CD4 redeposition and evaluates the importance of chemical erosion at the divertor in an ITER relevant regime such as the steady state ELMy H-mode.
