Abstract

The interaction between recrystallisation and precipitation during multipass deformation has been modelled by considering the non-recrystallisation temperature to be afunction of the process variables which include pass strain, strain rate, interpass time, pass temperature, and pass interval, etc. The method of applying the established isothermal models for recrystallisation and precipitation in modelling the non-recrystallisation temperature during a continuous hot rolling process is discussed in detail. Torsion tests have been used to verify the results of the modelling.MST/2090
