Abstract

A Conventional tire is also known as pneumatic tire which are supported by air pressure. Most automobiles use Conventional tire (i.e.) pneumatic tire. As, most automobiles use Conventional tires made up of synthetic rubber (i.e.) SBR the pneumatic tires are replaced due to the wear and tear. The material of Conventional tire are replaced with materials like PBT+GF, ABS+PC, ALON, as the main advantage of these materials are that they do not go flat and they need to be replaced very less often and has high life factor, resulting in cost savings. The present paper is a review of analysis performed on the Conventional tires of different materials (PBT+GF, ABS+PC, ALON) .These are compared with pneumatic tires made of SBR Rubber. The Conventional Tire is modeled using CATIA V5 and analysis is carried out by ANSYS 19.2 to find out which material has a better abrasion resistance.
