Abstract

The Human Learning ProcessThe autonomatic nervous system conducts stimuli from sensory receptors to the brain and the spinal cord, which conducts these impulses back to other parts of the body. As with other higher vertebrates, the human nervous system has two main parts: the central nervous system -the brain and spinal cord-, depicted in Figure 2.1 and the peripheral nervous system -the nerves that carry impulses to and from the central nervous system- (Britannica, 2009).
