Abstract

To study the operation strategy of primary system for small lead-cooled fast reactor, operation strategies including a ratio of core power to flow and stable core power are designed. First, the nonlinear model of primary system is transformed into transfer function model. Second, to maintain the stability of reactor power and coolant temperature, the operation strategies of stable core power and ratio of core power to flow are established with the PID controller. Finally, simulation of flow disturbance at the secondary side of heat exchanger is carried out. The results show that the core outlet temperature is excessive with the operation strategy of stable core power due to constant core power and can be basically kept constant with a ratio of core power to the flow model.
