Abstract
An analytic model for an unslotted opportunistic spectrum access network under nonsaturation traffic conditions is proposed and its performance, such as MAC access delay and system delay of secondary packets, is analysed. Numerical examples are given to show the performance of secondary users in cognitive radio networks.
