Abstract
The mathematical simulation is presented of the structure of vortex zones between periodical superficially located turbulators energizing the flow of a rectangular cross section based on multiblock computational technologies. The calculations are based on the solution of the Reynolds equations factorized by the finite-volume method and closed by Menter’s model of the shear stress transfer and the energy equation on different-scale intersecting structured grids. This method had previously been successfully applied and experimentally verified in [1–4]. An exhaustive analysis of the corresponding flow lines is presented.
