Abstract
The split-step Fourier method for modeling the propagation of one-dimensional autofocusing beams in linear and nonlinear optical media is considered and used. Numerical simulation allows us to visually investigate the change in the autofocusing properties of the considered beams. The possibility of forming optical traps based on autofocusing beams is shown.
