Abstract
The equilibrium relationships in a ternary system containing (octamethyl, octaazapentacyclo, octatriaconta, nonaene-κ 4 N) cobalt (II) chloride (abbreviated as [Co II MeVD]Cl 2 ), 4-(hydroxymethyl) pyridine (4-HOCH 2 py), and dioxygen in water have been examined. A double-titration method was devised by quantifying the concept of an effective equilibrium constant and resolving it into the underlying fundamental equilibrium constants
