Abstract

The results of experimental research on residual stresses and plastic deformations by the hardening of the outer and inner surfaces of thin-walled Kh18N10T steel tubes by means of microbeads are described. A phenomenological model for calculating residual stresses and deformation by two-way tube hardening is proposed. A method for parameterization of the mathematical model is presented. The adequacy of the model was verified, and the calculated and experimental data were matched.
