Abstract

The work is aimed at studying the influence of environmental factors on the economic components of the level and quality of life to assess the effectiveness of socio-economic systems. The multidimensionality of the category of the quality of life and methods of its measurement is shown. An economic integral indicator of the level and quality of life of the population is built on the basis of the methodological approaches to measuring the quality of life and of the Rosstat information and statistical base for the regions of the North Caucasian and Volga Federal Districts of Russia for 2016-2019. The paper evaluates and specifies a regression model that reflects the general ecological and economic situation in the regions and determines the influence of environmental factors on economic components. Statistical parameters of significance are determined for the regression model, and on its basis a forecast model of the level and quality of life indicator until 2023 is constructed.
