Abstract

This paper focused on the importance of finding and estimation the mechanical properties of 3D functional bone scaffolds. The bone scaffold used for evaluation considering different biocompatible materials. Detailed analysis and investigation of various mechanical properties of bone scaffold and its behavior in static loading conditions carried out. It will help to understand the behavior of used biocompatible material in compressive loading. The mechanical properties of the bone scaffold will also be predicted. The effect of change in material for same porosity and the material is found out via finite element analysis (FEA) and ANSYS 19.2 application analysis software. The comparative results among used materials identify the best possible biocompatible material for a 3D bone scaffold.
