Abstract
The working process of an Oxygen control valve for the pre-burner of a liquid propellant staged combustion rocket engine is analyzed, according its structure. The model of control valve is established in AMESim software environment. The steady-state and dynamic characteristics in a large working range are obtained by simulation. Finally, the influences of various parameters on control valve characteristics are analyzed. the results show that the spring stiffness has a significant effect on the steady-state mass flow rate of the control valve. The variable orifice is used to adjust the response speed of the control valve, which has the most obvious effect on the dynamic characteristics of the control valve.
