Abstract

Around the world, more and more attention has been paid to product traceability, and many different traceability models have been established. In response to the existing traceability models with low universality, poor scalability, and incomplete traceability, this paper analyzes and integrates processes in the supply chain, simplifying it by solving unclear hierarchy and high complexity problems. Then three essential process model elements are abstracted using Petri nets, which can build a traceability model applicable to most products and processes. In order to verify the availability of the model, an example of the Petri net traceability model is constructed. The incidence matrix analysis method is used to analyze the characteristics of the model, and the Petri net modeling and simulation tool PIPE is used to verify the properties and simulation. The results of the two methods prove that the model is practical and feasible.
