Abstract

Under the condition of urban rail transit network formation with “one-ticket transfer” and investment diversification, the fare clearing center (FCC) needs to establish a fair and impartial mechanism to solve the problems of ticket fare clearing. A method is proposed to calculate the proportion of passengers on each path based on passenger traveling time distribution. According to the entry and exit time records in traffic system, the travel time distribution of all the passengers within a period of time can be obtained between each pair of origin-destination (OD) and the proportion of passengers on each path in this period is also estimated. Numerical simulation method is used to generate travel time data in a pair of OD, and then the passenger proportion is computed based on these data. The simulation results show that it is accurate even with extremely small necessary time-difference between two paths. This dynamic method accurately reflects the actual distribution of passenger flow.
