Abstract

The modeling of single-stage synthesis of composite titania-silica nanoparticles in the working zone of flow-type plasmachemical reactor has been carried out based on segregated oxidation of titanium and silicon tetrachlorides, with each precursor being preliminarily mixed with air oxygen by means of bubbling. Within the framework of the developed model of the synthesis, the data regarding core size of composite particles, their shell thickness as well as ratio of particles with and without shell have been extracted.
