Abstract

Based on the quasi-gas-dynamical system of equations, an algorithm for solving the problem of modeling the formation of the gas-phase component of titanium dioxide in the working zone of a plasma-chemical reactor has been developed. Parametric calculations of the process of formation of titanium dioxide depending on the magnitude of the flow rate and on the place of injection of titanium tetrachloride were carried out. The gasdynamical aspects of the process of injection and mixing of the mixture components were investigated. The qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the process have been obtained.
