Abstract

In the paper, a dynamic model of the fuel metering unit (FMU) functioning is considered numerically, which includes three moving elements (servo piston, throttle needle and constant-drop valve). Numerical calculations showed that the characteristics of FMU as an element of the automatic control system are nonlinear and inhomogeneous, and that cavitation regimes may arise in the cavities of FMU.
