Abstract

Model equations were proposed to evaluate the deviation of the properties of real systems from ideal ones. The equations make it possible to reliably determine the most important characteristics of electrolytes in normal alcohols: the limiting electric conductivities (using the parabolic approximation of the function), degrees of dissociation, concentration constants of dissociation, activities of solvated proton, average ionic activity coefficients of hydrogen chloride in a wide range of concentrations, and thermodynamic constants. The desired characteristics (parameters) of the acid in n-alcohols were close to the experimental or published values, which indicates that the derived model equations are justified and correct.
