Abstract

It is demonstrated that temperature sensitive rate-independent deterministic hysteresis can be modeled within the framework of randomly perturbed fast dynamical systems with multiple attractors. By using the theory of large deviations, the mathematical machinery of identifying the attractors, through which such systems evolve in time, is presented.
