Abstract

The results obtained in modeling of drainage waters in tailings dumps of deposits in the Kavalerovsky district in the temperature range from 0 to +45°C are reported. The Eh-pH parameters of the technogenic mineral formation systems at various rock sulfide ratios in the tailings (95: 5, 90: 10, 80: 20, and 60: 40) were determined. The crystallization of supergene minerals from micropore solutions was studied. The qualitative and quantitative ion composition of the minerals and their effect on the surface and ground waters in the district were determined.
