Abstract

AbstractThe chapter presents analytical research of the joining process of the AA2519/AA1050/Ti6Al4V laminate layers produced by the explosive method. The proposed model allows determining the influence of connection parameters on the shape and quality of the connection zone. The analytical research uses the theory of the elastodynamic character of materials deformation at the connection point due to local traction load. The presence of high pressure during joining was limited to the region where the plane surface moving with a constant subsonic velocity. The residual stress distribution has also been analytically described and analyzed. The results of analytical investigations were verified by the structure examination of the bond zone.
