Abstract

Paper considers the nonlinear mathematical model of the mining machine’s dynamics. This model was represented by a system of ordinary differential equations with cubic nonlinearity and calculated for the given parameters by the analytical method of polynomial transformations. Small periodic vibrations affect the mining machine, which may cause premature wear of the equipment and damage to operator health during prolonged exposure. In paper considers the vibration protection system of the mining machine with spring-loaded and damped mass. The model of vibration protection system was represented by a system of three nonlinear second-order differential equations and calculated for the given parameters by the analytical method of polynomial transformations. Calculations show that the use of a vibration protection system allows reducing the amplitude of the small oscillations of the mining machine and the cabin with the operator.
