Abstract

Multistage electrochemical machining (ECM), which combines the advantages of traditional ECM schemes: the electrochemical sinking with profiled tool-electrode (TE) and the electrochemical milling with universal TE, is an efficient method of producing complex-shaped surfaces. Here, the main regularities and the methods of simulation of multistage electrochemical machining are considered. The results of simulation of multistage electrochemical machining of eddy promoters are presented and compared with the experimental data.
