Abstract

Large-scale multiresonator photonic devices and circuits cannot be efficiently modeled using finite-difference or finite-element methods alone. An improved transfer-matrix simulation method is used to show excellent agreement with measurements of multiband transmission and group delay characteristics in long silicon coupled-resonator optical waveguides.
