Abstract

The article presents the upgrade of the hydride reorientation model. The model development resulted from an experimental research program on hydride reorientation in E110 alloy started in 2015. Modeling and experimental investigation are focused on the effect on the hydride's orientation from such factors as hoop stresses, the number of thermal cycles, annealing time, alloy fabrication technology, hydrogen content, and maximum temperature.
