Abstract

Simulations of erosion and deposition for pits, W and Be dust particles on Be tile surface under high flux irradiation with D and T charge exchange neutrals and simultaneous Be atoms deposition are presented. A SCATTER code which takes into account erosion and transformation of the 2D and 3D characteristic elements of surface topography under ion bombardment accompanied by Be atoms deposition is used. An energy spectrum of charge exchange neutrals is correspondent to predicted spectra for ITER outer midplane. Evolution of different surface patterns is investigated as a function of fluence in the range up to 1025atoms/m2 with Be atoms admixture up to 15% of impinging flux. Accumulation of tritium in codeposited Be layers is evaluated as function of fluence and Be impurity influx for different surface patterns. It is shown that T retention takes place even if Be deposition rate is smaller than sputtering rate.
