Abstract

The objective of this work was to study the effect of distortion suppression in a model of the optical system with feedback, described by a parabolic functional-differential equation with a time delay and a shift of the spatial argument. A simplified model of differential equations with delay is proposed to perform the analytical study of the compensation of harmonic distortions. To find the limits to the model application, the results have been compared to those from the direct numerical modeling of the problem in its full statement and the effect of a delay and that of spatial arguments on the quality of the suppression of delays.
