Abstract

Description of mathematical modeling of material balance calculation in the field of spent nuclear fuel processing technologies and modes with connection to the using equipment are presented. Mathematical model of uranyl nitrate hexahydrate crystallization process from uranyl nitrate supersaturated solution in the linear crystallizer is presented. It is shown that the model allows choosing optimal working conditions of crystallization process followed with highest uranium yield into the crystalline phase. Comparison of obtained experimental data and calculated data with the model showed a slight discrepancy of the values.
