Abstract

In this study, the performance of a stationary autonomous process for generating thermoelectric energy by coupling a photovoltaic field and a hydrogen storage system (SEH), consisting of a gas storage unit, an electrolyzer, and a fuel cell in a high-temperature environment has been assessed. The Photovoltaic cell (fuel supply system) is an advanced and powerful electrification system that combines solar energy with hydrogen generation via electrolysis and hydrogen storage in a fuel cell. The present simulation models for all the system components have simulated the SEH hybrid power system in Matlab / Simulink (PVH2PEMFC). As a result, the performance of the system is assessed and examined under various operating conditions. The total energy control for energy management between the systems of various energy sources has been discussed.
