Abstract

In order to realize the optimal control of variable frequency circulating pump at user-side(VFCPU) and variable frequency circulating pump at ground-source side(VFCPG) for GSHP system, it is necessary to build the mathematical model of the total power consumption of GSHP system with bilateral variable flow. The mathematical models of power consumptions for VFCPU and VFCPG are built according to the theoretical analysis of operating points and operating power of the variable frequency circulating pumps. Based on the mechanism knowledge of GSHP unit, the frequency-flow characteristic equation of variable frequency circulating pump and the GSHP sample data, the mathematical model of power consumption of GSHP unit is build. The simulation results show that, at the current load, with the increase of circulating pump frequency, the power consumption of the circulating pump is increased, and the power consumption of the GSHP unit is reduced. Taking the minimum total power consumption as the goal, the optimal operating frequencies of VFCPU and VFCPG at different load can be derived according to the mathematical model of total power consumption.
