Abstract

Now-a-days, BLDC motors are gaining popularity rapidly. BLDC motors are highly used in industries. These motors do not use brushes for commutation, instead of that, they are electronically commutated. As compared to Brushed DC motor and Induction motor, BLDC motors have many advantages. The aim of this paper is to show for how much extent the harmonics are reduced by employing a feedback in the closed loop simulation model as compared to without any feedback. We have, here, therefore used the speed feedback strategy. Also a combined feedback method is studied. For this purpose, the performance of BLDC system is simulated. Based on the mathematical model of BLDC motor, the models are analyzed using MATLAB/SIMULINK, which can provide accurate predictions of FFT analysis of the system behavior.
