Abstract

Energy crisis is the key issue in current society, and one solution is to improve the energy efficiency of the urban integrated energy system (UIES). Thus, this paper focus on the modeling and optimization of energy efficiency of UIES. Firstly, the model of energy efficiency for UIES was put forward based on the five segments of UIES, including the process of energy production, transmission, conversion, storage, and utilization. The key techniques in each segment were analyzed for finding the controllable factors of energy efficiency. Secondly, the optimization model of energy efficiency is established and the external point method is implied to solve the optimization problem, by which the key technology factors and optimal energy plan can be obtained. Lastly, a study case of Chengdu City is given to validate the proposed method. The proposed model successfully found the key factors and the optimal energy plan, which is useful for energy policy to improve the energy efficiency.
