Abstract

The article is focused on the problem of a gas transmission system (GTS) modeling and optimization under uncertainty of gas consumption. Mathematical models of compressor shops, gas transport pipeline networks and GTS as a whole are developed. The models take into account the uncertainty of the equipment operating conditions. A new approach to formalization of the GTS operation modes planning problem is proposed. According to this approach, GTS is considered as a multi-dimensional system, which is characterized by a net structure and vector state and decision variables. To solve this problem within the new statement, a new multi-criteria method of hierarchic systems optimization is proposed. This method is based on GTS sub-systems modes coordination to obtain the optimal operation mode of GTS as a whole. The created method can be used to perform multi-criteria optimization of any hierarchical network with a similar structure.
