Abstract

Achieving sustainable energy supply and improving the efficiency of comprehensive utilization of all kinds of energy resources is one of the major challenges in urban development. The integrated energy system (IES) is expected to break the traditional energy supply barriers and solve many challenges of urban development. The study of the multi-energy coupling mechanism of urban IES is of great significance to the economic optimization of urban multi-energy utilization and the promotion of renewable energy consumption. In this paper, an optimal operation model of urban IES is established based on the coupling subsystem of different energy flows of electricity, gas and heating. Firstly, the steady operation model of the energy subsystem coupled with different energy flows of electricity, gas and heating is established. Secondly, considering the coupling of different energy subsystems, the optimal economic operation model of urban IES is established. Finally, the validity of the model is verified.
